International Daleco Corporation (Trading Symbol: ILDO) is pleased to
announce its subsidiary, Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc., has received a large
order for EcoCatalyst, one of its line of patented bio-organic catalyst
environmental water and green cleaning/remediation products, from its
international distributor in Istanbul, Turkey. EcoCatalyst will be used
for environmental civic cleaning for the City of Istanbul, a historic city
situated along major shipping lanes at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.
Over the
last 20 years, Istanbul, with a population of 18 million, has experienced
tremendous population growth, placing heavy demands upon its
infrastructure. Today, although Istanbul has modern wastewater treatment
facilities and collection systems, the city’s layout and extensive
waterfront development make environmental protection of its waterways of
critical importance.
Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc. has developed an innovative solutions package
to treat these environmental challenges. The Company’s bio-organic
catalysts can be applied through any water delivery system, including
power washers, street cleaners, spray systems, injection pumps, aeration
devices, mop buckets, or spray bottles.
EcoCatalyst will cause an immediate natural bio-catalysis upon the organic
contaminants, including the chronic fats, oils, grease, and petroleum
hydrocarbon pollutants that foul our civic streets, gutters, drains,
sewers, and public waters. Additionally, the receiving waters and
collection systems will be aerobically enhanced with higher dissolved
oxygen levels.
In
addition to the use of EcoCatalyst for green cleaning of the urban
environment, Turkish officials will evaluate the Company’s bio-organic
catalysts for improving municipal wastewater treatment facility
operations. Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc.’s distributor is also working with
Turkish governmental entities to produce educational media for the
nation’s schools to create greater understanding of the critical
challenges of protection of our water and environment.
Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc. has developed an innovative ‘green’
environmental civic cleaning program, designated ‘The New Emerald City’,
which for the first time addresses the massive urban pollution problems,
including those encompassed within the increasingly recognized non-source
point pollution. Coastal water bodies, in particular, have become
seriously compromised with low dissolved oxygen levels in the water,
pathogen proliferation, and gradual destruction of marine habitats.
BOCs are
patented powerful broad-spectrum biocatalysts that effectively integrate
oxygen-rich microbubbles and S-O-C processes –
Solubilization, Oxygenation, and Catalysis – to (1)
increase dissolved oxygen in water (2) accelerate the natural
bio-remediation of organic contaminants and (3) eliminate volatile organic
compounds. Derived from plants and minerals, the Company’s bio-organic
catalysts are non-toxic, non-irritating, non-caustic, non-corrosive,
bacteria-free, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable. BOCs are totally safe
for human, animal, marine, and plant life; and uniquely combine
cleaning with bioremediation in a single step process.
Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc.
is the commercialization company established to bring a line of patented
and proprietary bio-organic catalyst compositions to the global markets
for water purification, wastewater treatment, petroleum hydrocarbon
remediation, and ‘green’ cleaning of industrial and commercial facilities.
For
general purpose cleaning, Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc., through its joint
venture Bio-Organic Technologies LLC, has developed a patent pending,
ecologically designed packaging system that eliminates the current method
of delivering of liquid cleaning solutions in plastic bottles, a major
environmental impact savings and pricing advantage.
Bio-Organic Catalyst, Inc. (www.bio-organic.com)
is a subsidiary of International Daleco Corporation (www.daleco.com),
a publicly traded venture capital company, with over 25 years of funding
the development of breakthrough technologies.
