U.S. Army reports 97.9% reduction in Fats, Oils and Greases using Neozyme.

One of the Nation's largest sanitation districts to use Neozyme in program to help eliminate sewage spills and beach closures.

February 7, 2001- Aliso Viejo, California- Neozyme International, Inc. (Neozyme), a subsidiary of International Daleco Corp. (ILDO) announced today that its patented biocatalyst product, MC-501®, during a recent field kitchen test conducted by the U.S. Army, reduced fats, oils and greases (FOG) by an astounding 97.9%. The FOG reduction occurred within 8 to 10 minutes after MC-501® was added to a contained basin of water contaminated with FOG. The FOG water measured @ 2700 milligrams per liter (mg/L). The FOG water, after being treated with MC 501®, was reduced to 56 mg/L.

The catalytic nature of the Neozyme product, MC-501®, accomplished a decisive and instantaneous reaction. The results of this test are further verification that the application of Neozyme's patented products can provide a solution to the serious and expensive FOG problem. This laboratory analysis was conducted for the U.S. Army by an independent, qualified laboratory.

The buildup of fats, oils and greases (FOG) is the critical factor that has caused numerous sewage spills and beach closures in Southern California. Neozyme provides a safe, cost effective, viable and comprehensive solution to this dilemma. Neozyme's patented product, Ecozyme™, will be used in a series of FOG programs to be conducted in Southern California beginning with the coastal city of Newport Beach, and overseen by the Orange County Sanitation District, the largest wastewater treatment facility in Orange County, processing some 240 million gallons of wastewater per day.

The hotel and restaurant industry are discovering just how effective and affordable the Neozyme Products are in the elimination of odor and the reduction of grease in hotel and restaurant grease traps. "Our products offer a safe, effective and affordable solution to this continual problem," says Chairman, Parker Dale. "We help numerous hotel/restaurant operations, including some of the nation's leading chains, to meet the demands of state and local officials without incurring tremendous expense for the purchase of grease separation and treatment equipment which can cost between $15,000 and $50,000. Regular use of our product effectively degrades FOG and eliminates odors. The cost savings to these properties is dramatic and the use of Ecozyme™, a USDA approved product, can satisfy the requirements of municipal governments. This is a great benefit to business, government and ultimately, the taxpayer."

Neozyme manufactures and sells its patented line of biocatalysts for other applications in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, hydrocarbon remediation, industrial metal cleaning and in the agricultural industry. All Neozyme products are nontoxic, 100% biodegradable and can be safely used around humans, animals, marine life and vegetation.
